2021 Inspiration Award Proclamations - A Thank You For Your Support and Trust

We know it's been a grueling 18 months for everyone in our community, including our partners, sponsors, and friends to the Foundation.

Throughout an extraordinary year on all fronts, our partners, sponsors, and allies stood by the Foundation's side and supported us in delivering necessary and urgent services and supplies to our school district and community. And for that, we thank you.

This year, a proclamation was given to the Foundations critically important sponsors and partners, signed by the Foundation's President of the Board Annie Tsai, Executive Director Sonja Tappan, and Past President Colleen Sullivan, as well as the SMFCSD Superintendent Diego Ochoa and School Board President Kenneth Chin. It says:

WHEREAS, the San Mateo-Foster City School district serves 11,000 students each day, employs over 1,200 individuals serving students in myriad of ways, and

WHEREAS our shared vision is to educate, inspire, and empower every student in every school every day to live, lead, and learn with integrity and joy, and

WHEREAS our students, staff, and community accomplish extraordinary things and deeply care for one another to reach that vision.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the San Mateo-Foster City School District and San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation, do hereby proclaim that the

2021 Inspiration Award is to be presented to you, our generous supporter.
