Trash for Treats - Earth Day
Sixteen SMFCSD schools celebrated Earth Day by participating in the district-wide Trash for Treats campus clean-up event! With support from the San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation and PATH Water, schools received supplies, treats, and reusable water bottles to reward the student volunteers. 1,948 students gave up part of their lunch time to clean their campuses, helping the SMFCSD PTA Council earn 974 student volunteer hours!
