PRIZES FOR TOP READERS AND FUNDRAISERS:
READATHON RECEPTION
The top reader and the top fundraiser from each school will be invited to the Readathon Reception with Annie Barrows, the local and New York Times best selling author of Ivy + Bean, Iggy and more who will share her story and read one of her books. You’ll also get a signed copy!

Annie has also written a number of other titles for children, including mid-grade novels and several picture books. Her latest children’s series, featuring a nine-year-old kid named Iggy who never met an impulse he didn’t like, began in 2020 with The Best of Iggy.
Annie also writes for adults. She was co-author, with her aunt Mary Ann Shaffer, of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (also made into a Netflix movie). Annie lives in Northern California with her family and whatever it is that’s living under the shed in her backyard!

PIZZA PARTY
The 3 classrooms with the highest average minutes read out of all classrooms in the district will receive a pizza party to celebrate!
